Ambiente Tapas Fossgate

1. If you looking for a Spanish tapas place to eat in York, this is one of the best place. Recommend to book table especially on weekend as it’s busy. Food is amazing all the dishes we had so delicious. Staffs are so friendly and happy to service you. Good vibes. The portion of each dish not to big so you can try few menu. Price is valuable and affordable. We fished all the dishes and definitely will come back.

   Absolutely loved the experience here! We rocked up just before the kitchen was about to close, The staff were super nice and never made us feel rushed. Highly recommend!

   The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were attentive. We love Tapas and Ambiente did not disappoint.

   All of the menu selections we made were delightful, particularly the Basque sausage and Msuhrooms with cheese!

   Would totally recommend and/or visit again when we’re next in York.

5. Came as a walk-in for a last minute date night and they sat us straight down, our server Caleb was, we both agreed, one of the best servers we’ve ever had! He was so personable and just had a great vibe, so easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable straight away. Food was also incredible, we ordered about 6 dishes and it was the perfect amount for us two. Highly recommend the salmon and smoked haddock croquettes, the battered goats cheese and the braised beef short rib! All really reasonably priced too, perfect for date night 🙂
