Annie’s

1. Louisa was awesome! Taking care of a full dining room by herself. My omelette was good. My husbands crows nest Benedict was very very wet and the eggs were underdone. We got a lemon poppyseed muffin and Louisa recommended having it griddled, and it was quite good.

2. Annie’s is a cozy little nook in the heart of old Newport. Food is comfort and really delicious. I recommend the banana- Nutella stuffed french toast. They also have lunch fare / sandwiches.
   Prices are very reasonable and the long-time staff is super friendly, and professional. Jaime is great!

The menu is filled with comforting favorites, perfect for breakfast or brunch, with hearty portions and friendly service that keeps you coming back. Whether you’re enjoying a stack of fluffy pancakes or a perfectly cooked omelet, the food is consistently delicious and satisfying. The staff is welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Annie’s is the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem—simple, unpretentious, and full of character, making it a must-visit when you’re in Newport.

4. The food and service is outstanding.
   Also it is of the beaten path in Newport, prices are great. This time i had the bellevue eggs benedict, very good. They serve breakfast and lunch. Located nearbthe Tennis hall of fame.

5. Even though I was staying at a local b&b, I decided to go elsewhere for my birthday breakfast. I picked Annie’s since I had seen it had such great reviews. This place is pretty decent as far as diners go. The service was good, even though I kind of agree with several reviewers that the server lacked some enthusiasm. They have standard menu items at a reasonable cost, and the food came out fast. I ordered the Caramel Banana French Toast, and I got a nice sized portion for my monies worth, and the side of bacon was perfectly cooked and not too salty. They also make a pretty good cup of coffee as well. The overall appearance of the restaurant needs a bit of work, but otherwise, it is clean. In my opinion, this is one of the better diners I have been to while traveling out of state, and I would stop in again the next time I am in the area.
