Asian Buffet

1. The service at this Asian buffet was a bright spot, with our table attendant providing excellent assistance. Unfortunately, the food quality and cleanliness issues overshadowed the positive aspects of our visit.

   Food Quality

   The overall taste of the food was underwhelming. The shrimp teriyaki was simple and lacked flavor complexity. The sushi was slightly better, but still not particularly impressive for a dedicated Asian buffet.

   Cleanliness Concerns

   What truly alarmed me was the state of cleanliness in the restaurant. I observed shrimp in the sink along with visible mildew, which raises serious food safety concerns. This is especially worrying considering that four people in our party consumed shrimp dishes.

   Pricing and Billing Issues

   Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed a 11.6% tax charge, which seems excessive. According to my research, the standard sales tax rate in Missouri is 4.225%, with local taxes potentially bringing the total up to around 8-9% in most areas. The 11.6% tax rate applied to our bill appears to be incorrect and potentially taking advantage of customers.

   Recommendation

   While the service was commendable, the combination of mediocre food, cleanliness issues, and questionable billing practices make it difficult to recommend this establishment. I would advise management to address these concerns promptly, particularly the food safety and billing discrepancies.

   I encourage diners to carefully check their bills and be aware of the correct local tax rates. For those considering visiting this buffet, I would suggest exploring other dining options in the area that prioritize both food quality and customer trust.

2. The best! We love it! Great variety of food and it’s actually good! Service is great. Always greeted with a smile. Servers are ALWAYS keeping the table clean and refilling drinks. It’s our favorite, try it and maybe it’ll become your favorite too.

3. I came here for the first time ever with no expectations and my experience here was very good. The food selection was good. The chicken in particular, was very tasty. The service was minimal but great. I would definitely come back to this buffet.

4. Not horrible. Great for hungry kids.
   Very little for vegan. No tofu or tofu dishes. 2 dishes with just veg, mushroom and green beans. There was a chow me in dish with no egg or mean.
   Did not try what looked like a stir fry bar so there is always that if there is a next time.
   It was very reasonable, less than $70 with tip for 2 adults and 2 children. 6yr old fell in love with the sushi.

5. Tasty food with lots of options. Their sushi bar is fired for reasonable price specially lunch time.
   The gentleman I believe he’s the owner is very kind and friendly. He’s remember us every we dining. Highly recommend if you’re craving some good Chinese food! Get their coconut shrimp, you won’t be disappointed!
