Wanted to come here for a while and finally made it. Came on a Saturday afternoon and had the place to ourselves.
We ordered the vegan platter and it was fantastic. The food came quickly and l loved the plating. Looked amazing!
Everything tasted fantastic, I really enjoyed it and was very filling.
The rice flour pancake was light and spongy, perfect for scooping up your meal. The spinach tastes amazing, the lentils were perfectly cooked and spiced.
Service was quick and friendly
Will defo be returning, I loved it!
Enjoyed the Ethiopian cuisine.
I’m vegetarian and had lots of options available.
Loved the coffee and sampled the Ethiopian beer, which was very good, too.
Good and friendly service.
I love Ethiopian food and Asmara Bella didn’t disappoint. I found them easily online, was able to check the menu and make a booking.
I had the vegan platter and it was delicious. The injera were thin, flexible and tangy. The dishes had distinct depth of flavour – well made.
The staff were attentive and pleasant.
I will definitely return whenever in central Manchester.
Walking around Manchester and looking for a place to eat, we found this nice little restaurant to try. Small menu but simple and tasty food. Great service, server knew menu and was able to answer any questions about the food. There is extra seating upstairs if you want to relax and have some privacy.
Wonderful food and great beer. I had the mini mob, a platter of meat and vegan dishes served on a large injera ‘pancake’. Injera is like a cross between sourdough and a giant Yorkshire pikelet. Delicious flavours and textures. Be curious and try this place – you won’t regret it.
