  1. From the moment you step through the doors of Aurelia, you’re transported into a world of culinary excellence. This fine dining establishment at Castle Hill has perfected the art of gastronomy, leaving an indelible mark on even the most discerning palates.

The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Each dish is a work of art, meticulously plated to please both the eye and the palate. The flavors are nothing short of excellent, with every bite revealing complex layers of taste that dance on the tongue.

What truly sets Aurelia apart is its exquisite service. From your initial greeting to your final farewell, the staff demonstrates an unwavering commitment to ensuring your comfort and satisfaction. Their knowledge of the menu is impressive, and their recommendations are spot-on.

The ambiance perfectly complements the culinary journey, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting. It’s clear that every element of the dining experience has been carefully considered and executed to perfection.

For those seeking the pinnacle of fine dining, Aurelia at Castle Hill is an absolute must-visit. It’s not just a meal; it’s a celebration of culinary artistry that will linger in your memory long after the last bite. Without a doubt, we will be returning to indulge again.

  2. The views, ambience and food don’t get much better than Aurelia at the Castle Hill resort. We were shocked that the restaurant was so new, given the seamless, well-oiled machine that is its service staff. We did a fine-dining tasting tour of New England, and this was the only location that offered a cheese CART. That’s right, a cheese cart, as its own course in a delightful multi-course pairing with wine. The delightful staff took us on a culinary adventure through course after course, with lots of interesting tidbits and stories along the way. They have truly hired the best staff to execute these tasting dinners — the expertise and friendliness are second to none. As special and highly recommended as the tasting menu is, I actually want to return to Aurelia and order a la carte — their food and cocktail menu were among the best we experienced in the region. We also want to stay at Castle Hill, the resort! Lots of thumbs way, way up!

  3. My boyfriend (now fiancé) took me here for a fancy Valentine’s Day dinner. It is by far my favorite restaurant in Newport, second to none. It is right inside Castle Hill on the cliff walk and besides the spectacular view, the service was emmaculate and food was scrumptious! My partner spared no expense and added on the wine pairing as well as the cheese platter (highly recommend). Did you know that Aurelia is the scientific name for moon jellyfish? The seafood is as fresh as possible including local RI oysters and lobster and I loved the sustainability of the scallop crudo presented in the shell. If you only go to one restaurant in Newport, make it this one!

  4. So first and foremost the views are just incredible. We were there on a very sunny and quite warm day. We dined out on the terrace. It’s one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Take that all away and this place is still excellent. The service was exceptional in every way. The food was a very viable competition to the views. I had the burger and it was a top 5 ever for me. That and I had to have it with gluten free bread instead of a bun. Super juicy and perfectly cooked along with mushrooms, bacon, gruyère cheese, bibb lettuce, and a wonderful sweet onion-truffle aïoli. I had the baby arugula salad instead of the fries. Though my wife had those and they were super as well. She also had a big Caesar salad too. I highly highly recommend making this a stop during your time in Newport.

  5. What an AMAZING dining experience. It goes without saying that the scenery is absolutely beautiful, but our server Jessica was SPECTACULAR! She was friendly, kind, beautiful, and very knowledgeable. She went above and beyond the call of service. I had lost hope for excellence, Jessica revived my hope again. 🙏🏿 ❤️ Kudos to the entire staff.
