Visited there for the first to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The table given to us was a bit small. Nevertheless, the waiter who served us was very cheerful and helpful. The food quality was not bad and the price was very reasonable. No wonder there was a full house on a Monday evening.
Fabulous place, obviously not the cheapest but the quality and service was excellent, we were celebrating my son’s 21st, so wanted somewhere special, we weren’t disappointed. We were seated at a table downstairs, however I was not happy with it as it was made up of 3 small tables, we were a party of 6 and the way the seating was it did not work, I ask to move onto the table next to it, which was a large rectangular table, this wasn’t a problem and this was much better for a party of 6. We had starters, mains and desserts, accompanied with cocktails, wine and liquors, the bill was £358, so £60 per head not too bad for London. The food was fab, very tasty and delicious. We enjoyed the mirrored ceiling and loved the plates that the food was served on, also the toilets are a must!! Would definitely recommend this place if you are celebrating a special occasion as the waiters came out with candles on the desserts and sang happy birthday in Italian!! Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Thank you Ave Mario!!
We visited on a Saturday morning, and everything was perfect. The truffle pasta and pizza were top-notch, exceeding our expectations. The restaurant was bigger than we thought, but it’s so popular that reservations are a must. We’re leaving London with wonderful memories!
Valentina was our waitress and she was extremely accommodating and helpful with recommendations. Her knowledge of the menu and understanding of what we were looking for was the reason for our wonderful meal. We started with a pizza and focaccia for appetizers, accompanied by fun cocktails. The ambiance was spectacular, and so was the carbonara. Would recommend to anyone visiting London and cannot wait to come again.
My partner booked this place for our two year anniversary, a very good choice! The service is a 4 star as we had to wait outside for a table to be available and the front of house staff who were dealing with seating were inattentive and looked miserable. As that was our beginning experience I did not have high hopes however, the service we received from David was warming, unique and special. David noticed little things that other servers did not pickup on, for example we asked for some ice with our wine and he picked up that we were given crushed ice. David also noticed both myself and partner were struggling with the online menus and offered to give us paper copies (which we really appreciated). If David was not here to provide such good service, I fear that this score would have been considerably lower…
For starters, we ordered the arancini and calamari. The arancini was perfect however, the calamari I had to send back because it was cold. The second portion I received was a little better but I did not want to complain more than once.
For the main, I cannot recommend enough the dancing queen pizza (heaven on earth). It is by far the best pizza I have ever had! I do wish they had put more mozzarella on due to the price tag of £18.50 but definitely worth it! My partner had the crab linguine with no complaints there!
Atmosphere: 5/5. I will leave it to the imagination…spectacular.
