Bagel Central

1. Today, we made an order for the whole family but forgot to include coffee. I went to the counter to ask for a regular coffee to finish breakfast while it was still hot and pay right away, but was refused and had to wait in a long line again.
   I think they could be a bit more flexible.

2. Busy but the place has a unique good vibe. Very busy during weekends. The coffee is very good. Lots of options for breakfast and lunch. The menu has many options. Ideal if you like a very tasty and full breakfast. Every dish is in good quantity. And of course the bagels are all over the menu. If you love bagels and coffee this is the place for you. Might have to find street parking which could be a little difficult according to Maine standards.

3. Amazing! I’ve been craving this food since I’ve left. Everything was made from scratch. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu selections. We told her what we like and she gave perfect suggestions. I had an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox, red onion, tomato and capers. Soooo good. The atmosphere is inviting. Although it was busy, it wasn’t overwhelming. Once you order your food at the counter, you’re given your receipt with a number and they will call your number while you’re seated in the dining area waiting. If I could’ve given more stars I would’ve.

4. Pretty typical bagel shop. Noisy, long tables to sit at. The bagel was fine. Cream cheese comes in a plastic cup with a plastic knife. Okay coffee. The pastries looked good, nice selection.

5. This was a great place with a great atmosphere to eat. I enjoyed talking to different people I’ll never see again. The food was yummy! I got the oatmeal pancake and did not realize it was a square about an inch thick. Pancakes and bagels are really good. Got me a whoopie pie!! I’m sure everything is tasty. We didn’t have a problem with the wait time.
