I had a fantastic meal , the owner greeted me like a long lost brother he was so welcoming, he asked me what was my usual type of curry, I said a Madras he asked if he could make me a special Madras just for me a Shuke special it was absolutely amazing, the flavours just blew me away. I can’t wait for the next time.🥰

3. Ordered from here for the first time today. The food arrived quickly, hot and tasty. The onion bhaji, rice and chips were all 10/10. The chicken in the jalfrezi was the best chicken I’ve ever had in a curry. Sooooo tender. Literally fell apart. The sauce itself was unusual tasting if I’m honest and didn’t taste like an average jalfrezi that I normally have so I don’t think ide order that curry sauce again but would defo want the same chicken used
   Nice little side salad and I was impressed by the service I received over the phone whilst ordering; the gentleman was polite and accommodating.

   Would 100% order from here again- the quality was top- definitely a little hidden gem 💎

4. I have been going here for many years for Dine in and Take out. Never had a bad meal or a bad experience with the food here. Its always great quality, consistent, and great service. Granted there are times when your take away isn’t quite ready for collection when you arrive.. but this is only during really busy times when they are trying to fulfil so many orders. Good food takes preparation time, so patience is key. Its definitely my go to Indian takeaway and restaurant in Cwmbran regardless of this minor issue. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, as is the bar and collection area. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the main man being witty and accommodating has been doing a great job for as long as I can remember, and Ellie who is always on the go juggling orders, take aways and walk in customers. And the chef’s dishes are faultless. Keep doing an amazing job guys, this really is top quality Indian food at a competitive price 👌

5. Fantastic curry, full menu with all the usuals as well as very good selection of chefs specials. Chef will tweak your curry to your preference, add your desired flavour and/or woof it up. Very high quality food. Well priced. Good beer on tap. Highly recommended, great team running the place, very friendly service. Public car parking free just behind restaurant.
