Barry’s Downtown Prime

1. Fantastic meal here for our party. We had a big group and everything came out in good time was fantastically cooked. I feel like I may have tried the whole menu. Standouts were the Tomahawk Steak, the cheesesteak rolls, and the Carrot Cake. But I had about 16 other things too and it was all great.

2. The men who served and hosted us were outstanding, true gentlemen. The food came out so fast and was exceptional. The boneless rib eye, the rib cap were phenomenal. We got mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The creamed spinach was mind blowing. We also got the Philly cheese steak egg rolls which were very tasty and a unique take. For desert we were recommended to get the butter cake and it was decadent and outstanding. My only critique was the front of the house. There were 3 ladies that almost forgot to thank us before we left, we were almost out of the restaurant before one of them said anything. Other than that excellent food and service from the gents in the dining room.

3. The atmosphere was really nice, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Most of the staff was super friendly and attentive, which is what you’d expect at a place like this. But our server was just okay—not bad, but not great either. Maybe he was having an off day? Didn’t even wish her a happy birthday when we told him that we were there celebrating a birthday.

   The table next to us was also celebrating a birthday, and it seemed like the server was more focused on them than us. We weren’t expecting any special treatment but you could just tell he was more interested in that other table that had more people.
   Again, he wasn’t rude or anything, just a bit underwhelming for a place with these prices.

   The stake, and the Mac and cheese were very tasteful, and the drinks were delicious! We had multiple drinks each of us and they were all good and tasty.

   Overall it was a good experience just a bit different than what we expected. We will probably give it another shot again at some point and see if we have the same experience. It could have been a one off type thing.

4. Was celebrating a birthday. Definitely one of the better steaks I have had in Vegas. Our server was energetic on point and very attentive. Honestly some of the best service we’ve had in Vegas. The steak was cooked perfectly. The fire chicken was humongous! The truffle risotto was very tasty! Highly recommend if you are looking for an incredible meal near Fremont and “Old Vegas”

5. 10 for 10 steak restaurant. Servers look like true gentlemen. Dressed to a tee, very dapper. Service was exceptional. Got complimentary champagne and cheesecake because I had just got engaged at the Circa. Filet mignon was tender and juicy. I will definitely come back for more.
