Simple beautiful.
Food was delicious, staff are attentive and helpful. We loved the whole experience
We chose the lunch menu, opting for the sea trout, deer and chocolate tart.
All was cooked to perfection, the chocolate tart was something really special.
Would highly recommend for a lovely lunch or dinner
We will defiantly look to go back again
Everything about this restaurant is fabulous. The food, service and setting are perfect. We had the 8 course tasting menu, which was beautifully balanced, presented and delicious.
The staff are incredibly attentive, knowledgable and friendly. The cured Scottish sea trout dish was one of the best things I have ever tasted. A wonderful afternoon.
Perfectly executed lunch in delightful surroundings with a gorgeous view. Lovely service and beautiful food. It was a wonderful experience.
We arrived early and decided to have a cheeky cocktail outside as we were blessed with a beautiful day. We opted for the 6 courses and accompanied wine for each course. Two options on main and desert the other courses were fixed. I opted for pork belly and barabrith. The courses were presented to perfection and wine accompanied with knowledge of origin and favours. The staff were very pleasant and well trained to give you the experience you’d expect. The setting was out of this world looking out the window was something you’d expect on a postcard. To top it off we were lucky enough to see fireworks over the beach as there was a wedding taking place at the hotel. All around great experience with good friends.
An underwhelming fine dining experience. The eight course tasting menu had two knockout dishes and six underwhelming-to-mediocre offerings. Nothing was cooked badly, but felt a few of the dishes weren’t up to the standards its Michelin star usually signals. The cured trout in chive sauce and bara brith souffle were truly excellent so there’s quality to be had here, but not consistently across the menu on this occasion. Service was fine and very happy to see Welsh given prominence on the menu
