Bengal Brasserie

1. Amazing!
   This was our first visit to Bengal Brasserie, the food is outstanding & the staff provide a professional, friendly & helpful service.
   For starters my husband had the Tandoori Mixed Kebab & I had the Chicken Chat Puree.
   For mains my husband had the Special Tandoori Mixed Cocktail it was served with Pilau Rice, Salad and a bhuna sauce & I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill with Garlic Pilau & a Pathia sauce. We also ordered a Garlic Naan.
   Our food was absolutely outstanding, the meat was so tender & beautifully spiced. Garlic Pilau was amazing, the best I’ve had. Portion sizes & meat content are really generous.
   Does get really busy, might be worth booking during weekends & busy periods!

2. Food was very authentic but the chicken Batashi needs a warning for spice. It was hot.
   Service was very friendly.
   Prices were very reasonable. 8.5/10

3. Really lovely place & the food is so nice! It gets very busy so if you know you’re going I’d book a table. Also it’s quite small so if you’re looking for intimate this isn’t it! X

4. This was my second visit to the Bengal Brasserie, my first time was a couple of years ago while I was visiting from my home in The Netherlands.
   My first experience was amazing, the food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Naturally my friends and I wanted to go again for another meal, again my experience was the same. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to for Indian food. Thank you and I will definitely see you again 🙏🏼

5. Billed as the best curry house in the city of York, we were keen to try it out. So we booked a table on the Sunday night we stayed. The restaurant was busy and the food did not disappoint. I certainly have had worse but also had better. What we could no fault was the impeccable service and knowledge of the staff. Booking strongly advised!
