Black Horse Gt Lindford

1. The Black Horse in Great Linford provided a charming backdrop for a recent family lunch. The atmosphere was just what you’d hope for in a country pub – warm and inviting, with a touch of rustic chic.

   We were all impressed with the food. Everything was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the carvery. However, it’s worth noting that the portion sizes were on the smaller side.

   Thankfully, we left room for dessert, and I’m so glad we did! The chocolate brownie was an absolute dream – rich, decadent, and served with a generous scoop of ice cream. It was the perfect ending to a lovely meal.

   Overall, The Black Horse is a great choice for a family outing. The food is delicious, the setting is delightful, and the service is friendly. Just be sure to pace yourself so you have space for one of their dessert choices.

2. This place has remained outstanding throughout the years. Its had revamp since I last time I was there and the place still has a welcoming atmosphere which is accompanied by the amazing staff.👏 👏

   Really liked the menu, I had a couple of starters and fish & chips for mains. Excellent quality and presentation. Great place to catch up with friends or bring the family. Also it has excellent viewings which can be enjoyed from inside.

   Will be planning another to visit soon.

3. I found it by a bit of accident having a walk along the Grand Union Canal. Very efficient and helpful staff.
   It has a number of rooms wher you can sit and big outdoor sitting area. Great place to stop when you travelling by boat.

4. Always love coming to the Black Horse. Truly amazing food, fab atmosphere and top class service – all the staff know the menu inside out and are more than happy to accommodate most changes

5. We had a fantastic experience at the Black Horse last night! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Emma, our waitress, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, she made us feel like a priority, always attentive and quick to anticipate our needs with a smile. Her friendly, professional demeanor added so much to our dining experience—she truly is a gem and a huge asset to the Black Horse team. We can’t wait to return for both the wonderful food and the outstanding service!
