Bottle and Barrel

1. A really well stocked bottle shop and tap room. Stumbled across the place by accident but was a great find. Had really fresh local beer and neipa, IPA, sours etc at (I think) very fair prices. Everything I sampled was great over two visits. Live music in the evening and wish I could have stayed for that too.

2. Visited here almost every day of our weeks holiday. Fantastic range including loads of great local breweries and perfectly kept cask. All of the staff we encountered were really friendly very knowledgeable and an absolute credit to the place. We most certainly did not feel like tourists 😉 Cheese board was brilliant value too. Excellent options for drink in/takeout including some epic local ciders. Big thumbs up!

3. Wonderful micropub. Excellent extensive selection of beers in tap and in cans/bottles to take away, good atmosphere even on a Monday afternoon. Child and dog friendly

4. I don’t usually frequent bars as I don’t drink, but I was pleasantly surprises to find Bottle and Barrel offers some very delicious kombucha! The building is very small so finding seating can be a bit difficult at night during the busy hours, and it can also be quite loud, but if you don’t mind that, I definitely recommend it.

5. Very nice little setup here, a converted terraced house! Friendly and chatty staff, excellent selection of beers and ales and also spirits. Cosy atmosphere, cute little garden area. Will definitely come back for more ‘sampling’
