Stunning food, fantastic service, incredible ambience. Loved watching the chefs at work in the open kitchen. This place deserves its Michelin star!
Everything is delicious, but the particular highlights for me are as follows:
1. Sardines on toast: melt in your mouth freshness.
2. Raw wild sea bass with apple: unbelievably fresh and flavoursome.
3. Grilled anchovy bread: a salty, unique and filling delight.
4. Olive oil ice cream. The best dessert I think I’ve ever had. The oil makes the ice cream so smooth and creamy, perfectly complemented by the grilled strawberries.
Even the leaf salad was impeccable!
Most fishes were delicious. The Seating is a bit too crowded for the price they charge, literally seat next to the next table with 3 inches between each table. Service was nice and friendly.
Over all 4.3 stars. Some dishes were very nice, some were a bit plain.
The restaurant open at 12:00 don’t come early as the door will be lock.
Nice warm atmosphere. But the table setting is quite close to each other.
The starter dishes are very interesting as well as the side dishes. I like them more than our main Stake dish which is a bit sad.
The cheese cake is very nice. They are fluflly but moist.
Brat restaurant was a beautiful experience.
Every dish we had was fantastic. The bread with anchovies is a must get. The lamb we had was melt in your mouth, I dream of it still!
The real must get is the ice cream with olive oil, you will never eat ice cream without olive oil again!
We enjoyed our bank holiday lunch at Brat – love the atmosphere in the restaurant, warm and casual.
Dishes wise we had great impression for their bread – amazing flavours, the Lamb ribs – tender, fall off the bone easily, crusty skin and juicy meat! Almond and thyme pease cake stands out for us more as it’s more unique and the citrus light cream pairs really well with the cake.
