  1. It is a cute little cafe in Wheatley. The food was fresh but only one bagel in the entire menu for vegetarians when we visited. It was a bit disappointing. However, the bagel was truly delicious. My friends and family absolutely enjoyed it, and their coffees are mind-blowing.

  2. One of the highlights of living in Wheatley is this coffee shop! Whenever I have friends or family stay over, I love taking them down to Bruin for a coffee and pastry – showing off Wheatley’s finest!
Their food options are incredible and always taste so fresh. Really great, handmade food and good quality ingredients!
They have great vegetarian options and are really conscious of food allergies. I’ve always been offered a dairy free alternative when I’ve ordered cooked food. My lactose intolerant soul is grateful 😉
Really lovely atmosphere and SUCH good music. The staff are always really friendly and chatty – even when it’s busy. They always take time to ask about your day and make an effort to remember and get to know their regular customers.
Go check out their new renovation (super snazzy). Lots of room to sit in and also seating area outside.
Would 100% recommend the whole experience :)))

  3. If you like a chilled out, easy going cafe that serves great coffee and tasty food then this is for you.

You Instantly feel the vibe when you walk in with a couple of staff buzzing around clearing tables, serving food etc….at the counter the conversation is flowing and while you’re choosing your beverage the smell of the kitchen nicely wafts in your direction, i was having a chat with Louis who was an awesome guy who you could tell really cares about the business and the customer’s who use it. I had a Latte and ate a homemade Scotch-egg and took away a fruit flapjack for my nephews…………and maybe one for myself!!!

This is a perfect village cafe with great staff and just the right balance of busy and chilled

  4. What a great coffee shop, yep, I have read the other reviews about no seats, get over it!!

Update your review they have listened and are making an expensive choice to add this, to one of the most amazing coffee shops I have ever used!

YES, adding this one to my very short list of amazing coffee shops, their Pakora burger (bagel)? today was fantastic, and their cinnamon buns are just great, and having been in Wheatley for a week on a short break, I have visited here on a number of occasions now, wonderful chatty but not over the top staff team!!

I will be back as often as I can!

  5. For me, the best thing about living in Wheatley. My wife and I always look forward to our next visit… which is never far away!

Wonderful coffee and tasty shakes. Fantastic food, including amazing burgers and Louis’ signature homemade Cinnamon Buns and Pecan Mess. A good supply of craft ales and fine wines. And – most importantly – friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff.

Overall, great value for money and where a queue is simply a sign of a very popular little café at the heart of the village.
