Very good food. We ordered brunch around 11.30am. The only down side was it took also 15 minutes for the waitress to take our drinks order. Once our food was delivered we never has anyone asking was everything OK. Apart from that the food was really good and really tasty
We went here before a party on a Saturday evening. It was moderately busy but they appeared to have plenty of staff on to help. We had a peppered chicken stack and a burger, which were okay, however the mash was quite cold on the stack which was disappointing. We then ordered dessert and the sticky toffee pudding arrived but my partners smores dessert did not. We then waited 15 minutes on his dessert to appear after mine had and had a waiter check back to see if we were waiting on anything. It was then delivered a few minutes after the check back. Honestly was quite disappointed as I’ve been here before and I was slightly embarrassed because I’d hyped it up so much to my partner and we were disappointed. Maybe it’s because we went on a busy evening.
Went in for my lunch yesterday and had an excellent experience. Wasn’t sure on what to have but my server Sophie recommended the jungle diner burger and it was delicious. Was there with my family and their food was also amazing, we had great service and were checked up on multiple times and sophie was super polite and great with the kids. Overall it was a great experience and I would 100% recommend and hope to visit again soon.
Food was really nice but the service could have been much better!
Drinks didn’t come with straws so we asked for them (no big deal), they never came. That same server disappeared and we didn’t see her again that night.
Someone else eventually came to take our order and got us straws right away, but then it took over an hour and fifteen for our food to arrive. We considered just leaving at one point because we had cinema tickets.
When the food did arrive it was good quality and well prepared.
Maybe they need more staff working each night, maybe it was a one off, whatever the reason it’s not really what I’ve come to expect from a Dino diners restaurant
This is the 1st time in a long time since I’ve been here. My 1st experience was very good but this time however I was disappointed. Not disappointed by the food by any means so compliments to the chef, it was the staff that were a bit of a let down. From the minute we walked in understandably we had to wait to be seated so that was fine, however 1 of the staff members that were behind the counter looked up seen us standing there and put her head back down and carried on what she was doing. Stood for about 5 minutes before being seated and the place wasn’t even busy I would have overlooked that if it was. When we were seated it took the waiting staff a good 10minutes before coming over to ask did we want drinks and then a further 10-15 minutes before someone came and took our food order. Whilst we waited a bit longer to get our food it was worth the wait so I couldn’t fault that. Most staff when it comes to places once your food is served they normally return to see if everything is ok with food etc.., but not one staff member even asked nor did they ask when going up to pay the bill. In fact at least 4/5 staff members were huddled round the back of the bar chatting away when there were other customers waiting to place their orders. There was one girl In particularly that looked round at me and shot me a dirty look and turned round to her colleagues for no apparent reason so don’t know what her problem was, almost felt like I was an inconvenience even being there because I was disturbing them chatting. Anywhere I go I would usually tip the waiting staff for their service but on this occasion I didn’t. Service needed an awful lot to be desired. For this reason alone I don’t think my partner and I would return. Our experience wasn’t service with a smile by all accounts. I work in hospitality myself so I know it doesn’t cost nothing to have manners.
