Personally, I love this little cafe.
Their coffee is unbeatable not to mention the cakes…On weekends, they also prepare extra delicacies for guests with a sweet tooth like me.🫣
I’ve already had the chance to try several breakfast and lunch options plus seasonal menus, but none of them have disappointed me so far. You get really tasty, eye-catchingly decorated large portions no matter what you order, so you won’t go home hungry!
I also really like the staff, they are nice, always smiling, it’s easy to start a conversation with them, and they also take jokes well.
I highly recommend it to everyone.
Good service and a lovely place to sit if you just want a hot drink, but the food was quite disappointing, especially for the high price (there’s a 10% service charge on top).
I ordered the Rustic Breakfast, which was essentially vegetable scrambled eggs with a single slice of toast and very overcooked bacon. The bread is good, but it doesn’t make up for the price tag.
We each had a breakfast and a drink, which came to almost £35.
Budapest Café has become our go-to spot whenever we’re in town. The food is consistently delicious, authentic, and packed with flavour, while the service is always warm and attentive. Their coffees are a real treat, especially when paired with one of their incredible homemade traditional cakes. The passion of the owners shines through in every aspect, from the quality of the food to the friendly atmosphere they create. It’s a true gem in Bristol, and we couldn’t recommend it more!
Really good food, I had the stuffed cabbage rolls. They had a good flavour and were very filling. Perfect some for brunch and a coffee, highly recommend.
We went there for a coffee when visiting Bristol, but after seeing amazing plates being brought to other tables we decided to treat ourselves to the Rustic Breakfast- and it did not disappoint. Everything is so fresh and flavoursome, that we came back for dinner too. Located in the nicest area, looks like it’s a family-run business.
