What a hidden gem that doesn’t seem to get enough love in Brighton! It’s a foodie paradise dressed up in the most unique and colourful and fun way, what a pleasure of a cafe to sit in! The vibes and decor are exceptional, and it has some of the best food too – brunch and lunch, but elevated to be more interesting, more exciting, and all round better and more diverse than other cafes. They have loads of beautiful fresh cake and bakes, both sweet and savoury, and a lengthy drinks list too, including speciality teas which is a great addition, some real bangers.
To eat, I thoroughly enjoyed a salad of roasted cauliflower, crunchy apples, a tangy and herby dressing and pecans. Wow. So good and flavoursome. To drink, I had a cinnamon and apple matcha latte, an October special, and it was lovely, though didn’t taste of cinnamon or apple much – still a great drink.
The service was delightful and the whole place is just beautiful. One of Brighton’s best!
What a gem of a place. We went for brunch and loved this cafe! The pumpkin pie and the chocolate pecan brownie pie were absolutely delicious! The menu was creative and delicious
We were staying round the corner for the weekend and spotted this lovely looking cafe which appeared perfect for breakfast. It really was, we had delicious coffee and a breakfast muffin each. Homemade, local produce, so tasty. Couldn’t resist going back again today for brunch where we treated ourselves to the day’s special ‘Croque Crab’. It was large and so good! The surroundings are light and beautifully decorated, there is outdoor seating out the back. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.
What a lovely place with such tasty, beautifully presented food. Well worth the walk up the hill from the sea front away from everyday chips and ice cream towards an excellent breakfast, brunch or lunch, sweet or savoury or both. And chips are on the menu too.
Finally a truly gorgeous cafe in Elm Grove/Hanover! The decor is so stunning, the staff are so lovely, and the food is unreal (and also stunning)! The back garden is an oasis on a sunny summer day. A new favorite that doesn’t require a trek into the lanes yay!! 😌🫶💗
