Café Real School Street

1. My first visit was very pleasant. I got my drinks incredibly fast, and they were very tasty. The owner is very friendly and offers great service. I was even given a complimentary pastry. The shop is clean, quiet, and tasteful. I’ll definitely be coming back.

2. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. We didn’t try the food (looks amazing, so next time we’ll be getting waffles)
   We LOVE a fresh balanced cup of coffee. We tried their Tinto (self serve drip coffees), a plain cappuccino with whole milk, and a straight double shot of espresso.
   The cappuccino was nutty, with hints of molasses, exactly what I look for in a quality cup. DON’T SLEEP ON THE TINTO!!! The Tinto was such an awesome bargain, we highly recommend it if you want to try the different roasts before you purchase a bag of beans to bring home. We sampled each roast, dark roast was our favorite! The espresso was flavorful with hints of cinnamon and citrus, and it was not too acidic. All in all, this place is fantastic. Ambiance: The music is at a great volume, you can jam, but still have a conversation. The place is clean, indoor and outdoor seating with umbrella covered tables. There’s Wifi, and seems like a place we could come to get an hour of work done between things in our day.

Indulge in the perfect pairing at this Colombian coffee haven: the velvety cappuccino, expertly crafted with beans sourced from their own farms in Colombia, and a melt-in-your-mouth delight of an alfajore cookie. Café Real is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Colombia’s rich coffee culture!

4. 12.2.23 I was helped by the nicest man during my 1st time visiting this cafe. My Americano coffee was perfect, and since I love trying new things, I bought 4 Pandebono, the traditional Colombian cheese bread. It was amazing. There was street parking and several tables for indoor seating. This was a perfect stop before my hike. Thank you for the great coffee, pastries, and customer service.

5. Excellent coffee, cozy vibes, great people. No better place in CT for a coffee and a chorizo breakfast sandwich. I highly recommend the dirty chai latte!
