1. I’ve just visited this new coffee shop on Dundas Street.

   It’s one of the few coffee shops in this area that has a modern design, a variety of coffee beans, and pastries. The staff is super friendly, and the manager even helped me find some gluten-free options. I tried an oat latte, and it was seriously delicious.

   This place is also dog-friendly.

   I’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends 😊

2. Absolutely without doubt the best brew bar in Edinburgh and quite possible the best coffee I have ever had. Their selection of beans is awesome, so if you grind your own coffee at home then stop by for a coffee and take some beans home too. As someone that travels a lot, for whom coffee is my go to drink, this was absolutely outstanding. Service is amazing. Please make sure you ask Alex to surprise you with a speciality pour over. You will not be disappointed. Ps. Highly recommend the dark chocolate sea salt cookie

3. I believe this is the best coffee shop in Edinburgh! Alex, the owner, treats everyone with great respect and hospitality, making you feel like a special guest. The coffee is exceptional—easily one of the best I’ve ever had, even compared to the high-quality coffee in Saudi Arabia. This place truly deserves to be a landmark in the city and a must-visit for anyone seeking the finest coffee experience. Highly recommended!

4. Cannot remember the last time I had coffee as good as that! The coffee shop is so cosy and has an incredibly calming atmosphere, all of the staff are wonderfully friendly and actually want to chat to you, and the coffee and pastries are sensational! Wholeheartedly recommend that you take a moment to appreciate the good things in life at cafen.

5. We are proud coffee snobs (ex-baristas) from Australia travelling all around the UK and Europe. This is one of (if not the best) coffee we have found on our adventures so far; certainly a standout in Edinburgh!

   The cafe is cosy and inviting; a great space to work and drink incredible coffee.

   The people are welcoming and professional; it is always so nice to feel at home in a space.

   The owner; Alex, is really passionate, knowledgeable and welcoming.

   I encourage you to ask him to surprise you with one of their delicious pour overs or experimental beans/brews!
