  1. Decent Caffe Nero in the Wellington Place area of Leeds. Just on the outskirts of the centre. Some people seem to have had issues with staff. No issues for me, although I have only been twice to this particular Caffe Nero. Can get busy with local office staff at times. As always, the best coffee out of all the big chains.

  2. So I do a click and collect because I want to avoid a queue. When the order is finally done, the staff inform me they don’t have the food (should have marked it as not in stock then!) and that I can choose anything else. Except I have various medical reasons that mean i can’t eat certain foods, so I asked for a refund.

    Then the unhelpful staff told me to queue up – to which I said “Well what’s the point of click and collect then? You don’t have my food so now you want me to queue up?”

    After that, ANOTHER staff member then came to me and informed me they don’t do refunds, and to make a support ticket on the app.

    In what world does a shop NOT give you what you paid for, then refuse a refund? And what kind of customer service is it to KNOW you can’t give a refund and still ask me to queue up?

    I’m sick of these new “Trainees”. Either they get my order wrong or they just don’t bother to update the application to say stuff isn’t in stock. This Nero used to be the best one in Leeds, now it’s quite easily one of the worse.

  3. The staff that are British are very nice and polite but the the staff that is European I think is not rude directly it’s just the way she speaks, then she turns around to staff laughing and look to wards you making you feel uncomfortable.
    When in the queue I always hope I don’t get to make my coffee.
    Iv tried to see her name but she did not have a badge on.
    Just spoils the whole treating your self to a good coffee experience.
    It’s nit like she’s paying for.
    NI need to be disrespectful.
