Good enough service.
Tasty Festive Drinks.
Great selection of side snacks/desserts/pasties as well.
Ordered a vegan pastry slice fir my 4 year old daughter who has a serious allergy to dairy. I asked twice to be sure, that i had been served the correct item and that it was vegan and was told yes if course it is.
I got back to my car and gave it straight to my daughter but she said it smekt strange it was only when i got home that i realised that it was definitely not vegan. It is extremely lucky for Nero that she only had a corner of the pastry. Had she eaten it we would probably be tellimg a different story. To make things worse we returned to the shop the following day to ask why we had been served carelessly and the kids behind the counter thought it was funny.
I spoke to a young girl who could not care less about their negligence and there was no sign of an apology our caring attitude towards my daughter or us as customers.
We werent even able to get our money back on the item
Nero need some very serious staff training, its only a matter if time before they kill someone who has serious allergies. I wont be going back EVER
Sadly, the store doesn’t open at 8 am on Sundays and it offers the wrong time online. What makes it services awful is the curly hair coffee lady saw me standing outside the store but shew the white of her eyes to me just like I am the idiot.
If you don’t want to be treated like this way, this is not a good place for you to stay.
Great tasting mocha that did come initially with a smile, that is until I produced my fully stamped loyalty card & stated I have a free one, then his mood changed as he looked at my card over & over again, both sides, I think I’ve been in this same situation recently, very uncomfortable!
Nice sweet looking cafe that I thought was rather cosy inside, with an upstairs seating area too, but I will not be returning, why should I as there are other coffee shops that do not act in this way, great first impression of Bristol people as this is my first visit!
Another downside is after visiting most places in Somerset & surrounding areas & finding it to be full of dogs with my allergies, am I now going to have a purge on cats too, as they certainly shouldn’t be near food & drink either, regardless of being on a lead!
I visited this coffee shop recently and found the location convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. However, I was disappointed to find that the ceiling fan was quite dirty, and there was an overwhelming smell of smoke. Additionally, the drinks were not very enjoyable.
