Lovely little Caffe Nero, wasn’t overly busy when I visited, but the seats are great and lots of space. Decor is very cosy and coffee has always been great from Nero.
One of our favourite cafes in Bristol, Caffe Nero has a cozy and warm atmosphere that we always like. Good selection of coffee and food. One branch also closes much later than other cafes so that’s a plus. Great place to unwind, read, have a good conversation, or just let the world pass you by.
Popped in for coffee and was seduced by the very attractive puff pastry sausage rolls on offer. I made the mistake of asking for this warm, at which point it was crushed in a pannini press and served looking like road-kill on a plate.
Service was muted, perhaps to be expected a day after Xmas. Atmosphere was improved by very cute puppy which accompanied one customer.
In conclusion, no reason to visit this place unless you have to.
Excellent staff, good quality wifi, a casual atmosphere and tasty coffee make this one of the best in the shopping zone. High ceilings, large windows for people-watching, staff who genuinely want to make sure you have a good experience – a special shout out to Rita and Connie for answering my silly questions and making me fantastic coffee!

Man in bun who served me had terrible customer service. Made me feel like I had inconvenienced him for ordering a cake and coffee.
