Nice and clean when opened recently but, going by the last one it will get filthy quickly and indeed cups, trays, crumbs and packaging sits around for the duration of my longer visits sometimes – they seem understaffed. Luckily the seats are still clean. Staff are nice but service incredibly slow. Every time it’s slow. If you are ordering an espresso it will be cold by the time you get it. Staff need training that they need to prepare the crockery before putting cups on the work surface by the coffee machine then talking to somebody then maybe adding froth or milk (slowly…painfully slowly) then finally bringing it to the customer.
Also the refrigeration units are incredibly loud!! Fix please. I’d like to remain a customer but I won’t if you don’t sort out the racket. I could hear the one by the door at the other end of the counter by the tills.
A very strong performance from Caffè Nero. It’s a pretty new location and I’m all here for it! The food and drink are pretty standard and expected (I have high standards and expectations) but what really made this coffee shop shine is the atmosphere and vibes. It felt like I could stay there for hours and hours. I went there with my friend and I found myself so comfortable that I started to open up about my tragic past to him. There were tears of sadness and of joy from all parties involved. The service was also something that I found outstanding. The barrister was kind and polite and even laughed at one of my jokes! What a fantastic day 🙂
Sheikh for £4.80, no taste, the straw broke after 2-3 minutes, I can’t drink it anymore. taste 0 out of 5.
Very nice coffee, quite tasty snacks and very friendly staff. Only one what was not nice is that it looks like they are short staff. Tables was very messy. I found place to sit but I had to go and ask for cloth and wipe it myself and return cups after previous clients
This Nero is very popular, the staff are nice enough, the coffee is good, as you’d expect but it is absolutely filthy! There are coffee stains all over the floors and skirting boards, the upholstered chairs are all heavily soiled / stained, it looks as though no one has cleaned beyond the table tops in months! The toilets have a thick layer of dust on them and the rest…., it’s just appalling, it really is. To think people pay the best part of £5 for a cup of coffee to sit in this filth.
