  1. Coffee is slay! Partner loved the everything bagel sandwich with veggie sausage and the coffees! I had the avocado toast with an egg but to be honest it wasn’t well seasoned and the avocado tasted like it was smashed early and then refrigerated for a bit. Overall would definitely come back for the incredible wait staff who were all so kind and wonderful to interact with! Give this place a try! It’s very cute and great for working or catching up with friends!

  2. Amazing breakfast sandwich! You can really tell they use top tier ingredients. The workers are also very kind and the seats are comfortable to work in.

  3. While visiting from Missouri I came across Cambridge St Coffee House…. Coffee bean flavor was top notch. I had a cookie butter vanilla latte. Highly recommend!

  4. Such a fantastic and cute coffee shop! They have classic coffee shop drinks as well as a few brunch-type menu items. The space is clean and there are plenty of tables to sit and eat or work at. They do carry gluten free bagels as well as have multiple vegan options. The food is really great, I recommend trying the cream cheeses. The staff is incredibly kind and the owner is a very sweet and welcoming lady. The space is very cute and welcoming. Go support this local coffee shop!

  5. While the coffee and atmosphere were decent, the service was far from it. From the moment my friends and I walked in, there was a noticeable tension, as if Black customers weren’t as welcome as others. It felt off from the start, but we decided to give the place a chance.

As we waited for our orders, a staff member approached and told us we couldn’t sit down unless we were buying something. We politely explained that we had already placed our orders and were simply waiting for them to arrive. Despite that, she insisted, saying, “Yes, but you still can’t sit here.”

At that point, we were confused and felt deeply disrespected. It became clear that this wasn’t about seating policy — it was about the fact that we were a group of Black customers, and they didn’t seem comfortable with that. Rather than escalate the situation, we took our food and left, but the entire experience left a bitter taste in our mouths.

In 2024, it’s disheartening to still encounter such blatant discrimination. I won’t be returning, and I certainly can’t recommend this cafe to anyone who values inclusivity and respect for all people.
