Great food (kids found it a little bit spicy 😅). We tried of lots of different dishes. The samosa chaat was my favourite! The tea was delicious and served in lovely clay pots.
Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. Would recommend.
Had a great experience at ChaSha!
The Special Desi Breakfast was hearty and full of authentic flavors, making for a satisfying start to the day.
The Pizza Paratha with chicken was a delightful fusion, crispy and well-filled with cheesy goodness. The Matka Chai was the perfect ending—rich, aromatic, and served in a traditional clay pot, giving it a unique and comforting taste.
Highly recommend trying these dishes!
On my recent visit to Southampton, I discovered this charming little spot called Cha Sha, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the matka chai. Served in an adorable little clay pot, the unique smoky flavours were nothing short of divine and truly stole the show. Although the karak chai was commendable, the matka chai was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to any chai lover.
We also indulged in a few slices of their cake offerings, which were pleasantly nice and moist, complementing our teas perfectly. The menu is reasonably priced, ensuring a satisfying experience without breaking the bank.
The decor at Cha Sha is unique and attention-grabbing, adding a quirky charm to the place that sets it apart from other cafes. The ambience was pleasant, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon tea session.
Additionally, the facilities were well-maintained, with the toilets being notably clean. Cha Sha is a family-friendly venue, and there are several halal food places nearby, which is always a welcome bonus for those with specific dietary preferences.
Another point in its favour is the ease of parking, which was surprisingly hassle-free, making the overall visit smooth and enjoyable.
In summary, Cha Sha in Southampton offers a wonderful tea experience with a touch of uniqueness that stands out. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Lovely place, great decor, good food, really nice staff.
Nice again.

My recent visit.
I went with a friend for the first time to Cha Sha in portswood and it was amazing!! Food was great, really good big portions for the price they have. The samosa chaat was really nice but the best thing was the halloumi loaded fries! Also it’s a must try their Cha Sha blend tea, amazing!! Service was also great, really friendly and helpful making sure we were comfortable or if we needed anything. Shout out to Waqas Falik for being so nice 😊
