Chocolate Bar | All Day Cafe Bar

1. Service is exceptional, very friendly and warm. However, the actual hot chocolate was truly disappointing, despite it being a cafe specialised for chocolate we did expect more from it but it tasted like normal powdered hot chocolate you could make at home so I won’t recommend this. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Overall service was great, plenty of seating with a chill atmosphere. We won’t be returning, but worth having a try for yourself.

2. Came here because I wanted a really luxurious chocolate and although I wouldn’t say it’s bad, it was a bit disappointing. The cornflake brownie was pretty good and the sandwiches looked great. The hot chocolate however wasnt great it seemed to be quite lacking in chocolate and the mug was 50% foam so it ended up being a very small hot chocolate with some cream and one large marshmallow for £6.50, an extra £1 each for the cream and marshmallow which I think is pretty unreasonable. I’d come back for food but I wouldn’t bother with the hot chocolate.

3. Nice cozy place. The gent serving seemed MISERABLE 😆 the chocolate was AMAZING though. Im not a sweet person but the fact i got to choose the dark chocolate made a lot of difference. Recommend to anyone but maybe the guy serving us had had a long day.

4. I’ve just returned from my first visit to Chocolate Bar Sheffield on the opening day of Leah’s Yard. For those who don’t know, Chocolate Bar is from Bullion Chocolate and this cosy all-day cafe and late bar is perfect for chocoholics and those looking for delicious food and drink in the centre of Sheffield. Despite it being extremely busy today, staff were on it, providing good service and it didn’t disappoint. I had the Basque Cheesecake which I loved, and one of their signature chocolate cocktails. The level of customisation available on their chocolate beverages is on another level, you won’t find this anywhere else. They serve a wide range of drinks including beers and wines too, a perfect quiet oasis away from the nearby busy Cambridge Street Collective. Highly recommended!

5. I’ve visited Chocolate Bar twice recently, and both experiences were fantastic. During my afternoon visit, I had the perfect hot chocolate – the ideal afternoon treat. I’d recommend the 70% dark hot chocolate, and cookies, which are an ace combination!

   On a separate visit, I enjoyed a few drinks in the evening. The vibe was relaxed yet lively, with excellent service both times.

   The location is excellent and Chocolate Bar is a spot definitely worth visiting and will be back!
