Coffee#1 Wellfield Road

1. I didn’t enjoy the coffee at all; it had a burnt taste. However, the toastie was tasty. The place has a cozy atmosphere, but it’s very dirty. When I went to the bathroom at 10 am, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week, and it was pretty clear that it hadn’t been cleaned in a while since it was so dirty, with old marks and dried stains, mold, scum, so early in the day. It was really gross. Even though there are two hand sanitizer stations, there was no sanitizer available. In a place that serves food, the cleanliness is really important, and this cleanliness level says a lot about the place. It’s quite disappointing.

2. Pretty good coffee. Good matcha and golden latte. There are lots of places to sit and a nice sunny area out the back. I just wish they had almond milk – they have oat, coconut and soy!

3. Lovely place for a drink and cake. The carrot cake was a bit dry, but it tasted good. The staff was kind and friendly.

4. A very sweet coffee place in Cardiff. I enjoyed my coke and lotus biscoff cheesecake. The staff there are very friendly, polite, and helpful. I’d recommend coming here!

5. My friend and I both had chai latte. I had it with coconut milk, my friend had it with dairy milk. I had the raspberry and almond tart, my friend had white chocolate roulade. It cost £16. Quick service, was busy at the time too about 5pm.
