Costa

1. The manager here was very rude and had an extremely bad attitude. After all these years of drinking Costa coffee, she told me that packing required a fee, but there was no price list or anything to prove that this fee was required. She claimed to be the manager of this store and said that no matter who complains, no one would care or take any action against her.

2. Is this a Costa coffee or a Karen’s Diner?
   Actually amazed by how the staff were so rude about the orders they had just taken, openly expressing annoyance about having to make a cold drink “I’m not paid enough for this” and saying IN FRONT OF MY FACE “why am I putting a coconut out when I have two oat milks right here.”
   Because I like the taste of coconut in my mocha.
   And obviously nobody cares because nobody has commented on the other negative reviews posted here. I get it, minimum wage customer service jobs suck from time to time, I’m in one myself, but I would never be so actively rude to a customers face especially when they’re desperate enough for caffeine after two late shifts to buy your overpriced coffee.

   Sort it out.

3. Had a connection early this morning at Nottingham station so stopped at the Costa for a drink. Ordered two drinks, immediately told that they didn’t have the size we ordered. After the order was placed we had to wait about 5 minutes until one staff member came to the counter and asked everybody in the queue what she was making because she’d only had one order through, strange given that there was about 6 people in the queue. Upon hearing from her colleague in a rather unpleasant tone, we were told that we’d simply “have to wait” as we wanted frappes. We a further 5 minutes whilst peiple behind us in the queue walked off with equally obscure drinks before us. When it eventually arrived, the presentation was dreadful, coffee and syrup dripping down the outside of the cup and the cream that they had used must have run out as we were left with a thin film of what I can only assume was milk on the top of the drink.

   I have heard that Starbucks is nearby – if you have the time, go there. If you’re in a rush, you’re better off waiting until your destination.

4. Used this Costa a few times before hopping on a train to LND. Always end up with tummy issues after having a coffee here! To be honest the staff wasn’t very nice either each interaction. One time when my son was about to ask for marshmallow and cream with his hot chocolate was given an eye roll by the staff.

   A place to avoid if you don’t want tummy issues whilst travelling and an awful customer service!

   Starbucks is right outside and with better service and safe for the tummy!

5. took a painfully long amount of time to make 2 coffees (around 10 minutes) so nearly missed our train, staff were bickering and had no idea what was going on and had to check what our oder was twice before making it, only had small cups left yet still took 10 minutes to make a drink, and once the drinks arrived they were messy with coffee running down the side of them, ill prepared and overly syrupy. There’s a starbucks around the corner, just go there instead.
