Costa Coffee Drive Thru

1. This place has a habit of closing early. For instance, today it’s 17:00 on a Saturday and the place is shut, despite their advertised closing time being 20:00. I haven’t figured out the pattern of these early closures yet. Perhaps they decide to close early on less busy days. Either way, it makes it very hard to plan a trip. It’s always a gamble whether it will be open or not. There is no sign on the door explaining why there is an early closure today, and even though there are staff inside the shop, they would not come to the door to explain what was happening either.

2. Went there to do some work and have a meeting. Coffee is always good, and the banana cake was great also. The most I was impressed it was the genuine service we received the guys behind actually know what a great customer service it is . The only thing I don’t like is the car park in there is limited to 3 hours, and it’s not their fault. Usually I work on the computer and meetings can take long and it’s frustrating to stay with this stress that’s why we left other wise I will spend most of the day there as the staff are really nice.

3. I had nice coffee break.
   Big car park so you can leave your car 3 hours for free.

4. Convenient drive thru. Quick friendly service. Lovely festive cups. Hazelnut and Praline latte was nice but the bits in the latte were not very nice. A great place to grab food and drinks to go.

5. Quite small place but plenty of comfy seats. Selection of food quite limited. I counted seven staff who were serving customers in shop and those who were using drive throughs. Service felt slow but it could be that staff are new to it!
