Cow & Sow (Clifton)

1. Very nice meal! Lily served us and she was outstanding. She was very knowledgable about the menu and helped us make the best selection. She also had a little joke with us which was very enjoyable.

   The food was great, we went for the roast selection that contained multiple meats. My favourite was the sirloin. The only reason I gave 4 stars for food is the portion size. It was so tasty I wish there was more of it (picture attached).

   Decor is very nice in the place and the atmosphere is nice, very chill and good vibes. I’m a big fan of the moss wall as soon as you walk in on the right hand side.

   Location wise very accessible with parking options near. Will definitely go back again. We went on a Sunday for the roast but the steak selections looked incredible too.

   Clearly a well run restaurant of high quality.

2. Just had a fantastic visit to Cow & Sow restaurant with my cousin, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in as a walk-in booking, the staff made sure we were looked after. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious – all thanks to the recommendations from our knowledgeable waitress.

   The real highlight, though, was meeting a staff member named Goo. She was so full of energy and genuinely happy to be there. When we complimented her on her positive vibe, she told us it’s because she loves her job and that the whole team is like a group of friends who truly get along – and it shows! That kind of camaraderie really adds to the dining experience.

   The hospitality, great food, and overall atmosphere made it a memorable evening, and we’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend this place!

3. Nice independent steak restaurant, they were accomodating for my boyfriend’s birthday and put a birthday candle in his steak at my request which put a smile on his face! Good offers for daytime meals and also on First table.
   Nice decor and tasty food, for us the highlights were the croquettes and the ribeye steak.
   Special thanks to our servers Jamie and Rob for their excellent service.
   Many thanks to all. Look forward to coming back another time and trying some of the non steak options.

4. I went to the Cow & Sow in Clifton with four friends for a belated birthday celebration last Monday evening. I was given a free glass of bubbly (with raspberry) and a “Happy Birthday” message on my delicious chocolate delice dessert. The sirloin steak I had was delicious, and the servers (Rob, Asa and Estelle) were friendly and attentive. I had broccoli and leek gratin and chips with the steak, and all the food was fantastic. As a bonus the wine was half price (as it was a Monday) and we were able to stay longer than the allotted seating. All in all, a five star experience, and I will be going again.

5. Perfect food and presentation. Estelle and Gio were absolutely fantastic and professional. They really make you feel welcome, and are very kid friendly.

   We shared the picanha, sharer plate, and even got some extra pork rinds. Kids shared a burger and baby back ribs.

   Dessert was ice cream which the kids loved and I got a really interesting cheese cake. Unique and delicious.

   A bottle of house malbec topped it all off.

   180gbp with service charge.

   Location is in a bustling area of Clifton so lots to do after.
