Beautiful spotless restaurant with outside seating plus large brollies if needed. So, they have a special menu board inside along with the main menu. Our friends opted for a tapas starter with Sunday roast (lamb or beef) dinner. A couple had dessert and roast. I had r tapas. Scallops, mussels, crispy pork belly, and little fried potatoes with a fried egg. And Spanish sauce. The food from the open kitchen was fantastic, really good and to be fair, a lot of it. The only criticism from a couple was that the Yorkshire puddings were more like a cake. The bar had a nice selection of wine and a few continental beers. All very nice.
Service was immaculate, efficient, and very friendly. A great group of staff. Well put together and run. What a brilliant venue. With carriages (train as that’s the theme here) for rent with self-catering facilities. Highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Barry.
A great place to eat and enjoy a night. Honestly I really enjoyed a Friday night at Cosy Tapas it has a great atmosphere and the food is both tasty and really well presented. Already one of my favourite places to eat and only the first time to visit.
We went for a short break in Barry and found this gem of a restaurant. We dined there for two evenings and both times the staff were efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and well presented. The cleanliness is 5 star. If you haven’t already eaten here try it I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Thank you to the team.
Amazing restaurant, great vibe and very boujee. Food was so tasty, can recommend the Pork Belly. Staff were efficient and friendly. Can highly recommend this restaurant
The restaurant was pleasant with a nice atmosphere. The waiting staff were polite and helpful.
We chose the fillet and ribeye steaks, both medium rare, both should be of a high standard but unfortunately both steaks were dry and tough. The dauphinoise potatoes in my opinion should have been soft and creamy but instead was a solid square lump of grey potato.
We reported this to the waitress and were given a small discount. I would not choose to visit this restaurant again.
