Crema Coffee House

1. Easily my new favorite neighborhood coffee shop. I was greeted by the most gentle and friendliest barista. a Sunday at 8 AM, that feels rare. The stamp on the to go cup was created by a local digital artist who use the face of the neighboring shop owner. What a special touch. The outdoor garden was a surprising oasis. I hope to bring my book there and relax. Also complements to the gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Delicious and I recommend to all gluten-free/vegan people.

2. The best location for specialty coffee and espresso I found near downtown Denver!

   Different kinds of coffees are sold, from milk based ones like latte to cappuccino to french press, pour over and espresso. They also had bags of beans.

   Personally, I really recommend their espresso, it’s made me come back here multiple times because of their very thick, yet still not bitter or burnt, shots.

3. This place is the OG of coffee in the Denver area. I’ve been coming here since 2010 and despite the changes in staff (as any place opened as long should have) the greatness has never lapsed.
   The espresso is excellent…they use a combination of different roasters from all over the US. It is rare that you find a coffee shop that produces top quality espresso with house baked goods…I know there are many that try. I applaud them, but none can match what Crema does here.
   Their service is quick yet patient. At times there are lines, but the staff handles the rush with efficiency and friendliness.
   I have traveled throughout the world and I have not found Crema’s equal. They’re quirky (as you’d expect in a thriving artistic community), skilled, and consistently excellent.

4. Asked for double chicken. This is the chicken that was in my salad. It was entirely made up of gray, dry, sad, rubbery chunks of what tasted like trash they pulled out of the dumpster. Paid an extra $2 for the additional chicken that was not present and the chicken I did receive wasn’t edible. $20 with tip and I’m still hungry. Very disappointed.

5. Dear Crema,
   Thank you for turning my difficult morning upside down with this lovely latte and breakfast burrito. I can feel the love energy all around in this coffee shop. Bright faces, happy employees, lively customers, and just what I needed to start the day right! ✨
