Owner and chef, Simon Hedges, said to me when I thanked him for the kind hospitality his family showed us, “You know, we just want people to feel like it’s home away from home when they’re here.” And so it is at this great little restaurant nestled between the Royal Crescent and the Circus in Bath. We like to try numerous restaurants when we travel but we had such a good time and great meal here that we immediately booked a table for the next night as well. The food is prepared right before you, fresh and local. The wine list is solid, cocktails are great and the beers are cold. Don’t miss this gem if you should ever be in Bath. 3. Tables outside if you fancy al – fresco dining , we went inside to a compact but very comfortable sitting room setting. My wife liked the artwork on the walls. The food was absolutely superb , it’s not often I have three courses but the menu was different and very tempting. The friendly staff were great and didn’t hover or crowd you but left you to enjoy and saviour your meal .

4. We came here all the way from the Midwest of the United States. We specifically planned our UK trip around visiting this incredible restaurant where you’re greeted like family and feel like you’re sitting in your family room, but having some of the most delicious food in the world! Unpretentious tipis. Fun. Warm. Delicious food and drinks. What could be better?

5. Fabulous food and great service! An intimate restaurant with simple decor but a warm and friendly greeting. A lovely selection on the menu and all cooked perfectly. Attentive service and attention to detail was spot on! Made for a lovely evening and would definitely recommend!
