Stopped in to check this place out today. And from the second I walked through the door I was well pleased with the ambiance. We were servent well by Anna. Her friendly demeanor and wonderful smile make her a wonderful hostess.
She informed us of all our options and gave us suggestions. She answered all our questions. It was a pleasure to eat at this establishment. The food was really delicious. Especially the yummy dipping sauces for our chicken empanadas.
I definitely recommend and will be going back regularly to try more items off the menu. They have meals, appetizers and deserts. And it all smells and looks so yummy.
The Cubano sandwich tastes like the ones we had in Miami, but so much larger! The bread is toasted & crunchy, the meats & pickles are very flavorful. Our server seemed surprised that we each ordered a sandwich (one sandwich can easily be split by two or more) but I knew I would want to take leftovers home. I was right! The Key Lime Tart was fresh, light & refreshingly tart. We’ll be back!
A truly excellent little find in Aurora. I was doing a work training over at Pickens technical and looked up food and found a Cuban bakery and walked in to find the most glorious little, and by little I mean gigantic, pan bistec (pictured ), served with super thin potato fried. To start I ordered the congri, which is Cuban rice with black beans in it, which was terrific. I did sprinkle a bit of pepper in with some tapatio because I like some spice, but it didn’t need it.
I chased it all with a jumex mango, and let me tell you that I didn’t even finish half the sandwich. Absolutely terrific food, with a local Cuban crowd mixed in with randoms like myself popping in for the experience and new flavors.
As a bonus, a gentleman in a very nice Jeep stopped me to tell me that he liked my sunglasses as I was walking out. I do love compliments from other men because I know they’re real. Anyway, check this place out. Definitely worth it. But definitely love to see more decor to add to the experience.
The food here is incredible, and the portions are enormous. The arroz amarillo is fabulous and has excellent flavor. The chicken fricasse was so tender and flavorful. The potatoes soak up the tomatoes and onion juice, making them delicious and like little flavor bombs. My partner had the lechon and said it was excellent. The yucca with mojo was simple yet one of my favorite dishes. The plantain was also delicious. I couldn’t help but get a slice of tres leches cake; it was some of the best I’ve had in a while. I would definitely recommend it!!! Will be going back to try more things on the menu and grab some of the pastries they have! I will definitely be getting a cake from here for my upcoming birthday!!!
Excellent Cuban food in the area. We tried the chicken fricasse and lechon – both were amazing, and portions were more than generous. Baked goods were stellar as well – the tiramisu and tres leches cake were perfectly moist and delicious. Just be mindful when you order – you are going to get your money’s worth.
