Domestique Coffee – Satellite (Avondale)

1. Awesome place to get your caffeine fix, espressos and cortados are served on actual glassware with sparkly water to refresh your palate. They use the Wavelength beans to make their espressos and it tasted great. Love that they made an effort to make the beautiful latte art on the cortado. Just overall excellent vibes in here.

2. Nice vibe. Very chill environment. Love their coffee. Their Guatemalan single origin is my favorite.

3. Excellent place to grab a coffee in a chill atmosphere. We grabbed some coffees and chocolate cookies, it was all very good. The place was emptier in the early morning and then got quite busy a couple hours later. Though it’s not super quiet, it’s not loud either, and I found it easy to work in a bunch of things while I was there. Staff were nice and service was prompt. The atmosphere was a bit eclectic which frankly made it feel fresh and fun. Oh, and they have video games!! I’d come back!

4. I recently visited Domestique coffee, and had the pleasure of being served by Addyson. The atmosphere was cozy, with a welcoming vibe that immediately made me feel at home. Addyson was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping me choose a delicious coffee blend that perfectly suited my taste. The service was prompt, and the coffee was exceptional—rich, smooth, and served with a smile. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

5. We were driving through Birmingham and had lunch at SAWs. Ran across the street to get iced coffee. I was surprised how big it is inside. The atmosphere is very fun and whimsical. If I lived in the area I could see myself hanging out there more often. Tons of board games and card games and even video games. Customer service is super friendly too. Four stars purely bc I wish there were more size options. I just needed something smaller.
