  1. Drift Cafe is a great place for a quick meal or beverage to take out. The model is to order at the cashier then find a table for the food to be served. Waitstaff very accommodating and added to our order after we sat down to avoid having to stand in the growing line. Breakfast fare very hearty and smoothies very smooth. Restrooms clean. Decent variety on the menu and food very good.

  2. Cute and busy spot in Newport right near the water and the docks. Fun cute seating. All different types which I love. Couches with low coffee tables, booth seats, standard dining tables and those fun kinda hanging nest chairs. Enjoyed their breakfast wrap a lot, their Chai was standard. Restroom available. My sister loved the coconut ice coffee. It has little pieces of coconut in it.

  3. Great little cafe, with a variety of coffee and breakfast selections. Not too many options for tea; just the standard. The breakfast bowls are really good and prettily presented too! Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

  4. I ordered two eggs scrambled, bacon and toast. The “toast” wasn’t toasted at all and was dry, I had to ask for butter. The bacon was a big clump that was barely cooked, I wasn’t able to eat any of it. The eggs tasted like they came from a carton. So I spent about $15 on a few bites of watered down eggs and stale bread. I did order a chai latter which was good, so there’s that. Overall … if you’re looking for a place to eat, keep walking

  5. Drift is a cute cafe that has tasty espresso and açaí bowls/breakfast/lunch. Finding a place that can do dairy-free things is always a win, but pair that with friendly staff and fun hammock chairs and lots of good windows and I’m sold. I’ll be back to try more!
