Eden Café Clifton

1. Had a lovely burrito for brunch – I also tried the cinnamon pancakes the day before and they were great as well. The elixirs are also very nice and a great alternative to traditional hot drinks. Definitely recommend!

2. The food was very bland. I had a smoothie and mushroom dish. Both just had no flavour. I was very disappointed as the reviews were so good. Very expensive for what it is. Better veggie places within Bristol

   The venue was full, and with the terrible acoustics within the room, it made it awful to hear any conversation. I wouldn’t recommend if you are hard of hearing or if you get overwhelmed with loud noises. Often, I felt like I was having to shout across the table

   My last bug bear was that I was with my brother, who is a trans man, but we were greeted as ‘ladies’. I feel like language could be improved to not mis-identify a person

3. This was one of the main vegan places I wanted to visit while studying in Bristol, and when the time came, it did not disappoint.

   We had the Eden English Breakfast as well as the soup of the day, which came with one of the most wonderful vegan toasties I’ve ever had. The Eden English was also delicious and very cosy and the size is ideal for one person to indulge or up to two people because the portion is rather generous.

   Then for dessert, we had the brownie and the caramel crunch muffin, both of which were tasty; however, the brownie was a little too dense for my preference, while the caramel crunch was more enjoyable of the two.

4. We came for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Sandwiches were delicious and the quiche was very tasty . The scones with jam & cream were a real treat & we had to take the other 3 cakes home as we were too full to eat them .
   The vibe was very chill and we felt very relaxed while we chatted & had our yummy tea.
   Service was polite, friendly & quick.
   Thoroughly recommend x

5. Such a great venue offering unique dishes and drinks. We stopped by at the weekend and we’re so glad our favourites were still available 🙌🏼

   Staff are always friendly and welcoming and we’ve always had great service no matter how busy it can get.

   Lots of tasty plant-based and vegan things to enjoy 💚 If you’re in Clifton you’d be missing out by not passing by!
