Elif Turkish BBQ Restaurant

1. What a nice restaurant and loved sitting outside in the street watching the hustle and bustle of the high street passing by. The service was amazing and they kept bringing us more sauces and water etc without us even asking. There was a queue for a table the whole time we were there which is a good sign that this is a top restaurant. The food was amazing, cooked perfectly and full of flavour… Plenty of it too!

   I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely return next time I’m working in the area.

2. The food was very nice and had a lot of flavour.
   We ordered the platter for two and the portions were very generous. The chicken wings and meat were very well flavoured. However the Adana kebab we had was very dry. I was disappointed with this as the kebab is something I look forward to. In addition the calamari was nice and crispy and the borek was also delicious. Unfortunately the borek filling was very thin.

   The bread they brought was delicious. Nicely flavoured with herbs and it was a little bit crispy which went really well with the hummus. The hummus was flavoured well and I could taste the chickpeas but it was very grainy.

   The sitting was compact so be aware if you’re in big groups and another thing to remember is, there was a sign that said they don’t do take out on left overs. But we never had any issues. Over all, very nice experience and the staff were very helpful.

3. My first time eating here last night. All I can say is wow. The smell of the food from the street was amazing. Our friends had pre-booked the table as they have eaten here many times and it’s always busy. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was fun and the food was like nothing I had eaten before totally amazing. Will definitely be returning on our next visit.

4. The food and services were great. You could see from the personnel and the menu that they are the real deal. Very good service. impeccable. very good food. big portions and acceptable offer of two courses for 15 pounds. got nothing to say but straight AA. Enjoy it !

5. This restaurant is always bustling, and it’s easy to see why. We visited for a late lunch, which is available from 11am to 5pm. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality and generous portions of the delicious food. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can even watch as the dishes are cooked over a charcoal grill. Although the service was a bit slow, it worked in our favor, allowing us to savor each bite and fully enjoy the experience.

   The table next to us ordered the KARISIK (FOR 2 PEOPLE) for £39.95, which included Adana, Lamb Shish, Chicken Shish, Lamb Chops, Chicken Wings, and Lamb Ribs. It looked absolutely incredible—definitely something to try on our next visit.
