Flax Steakhouse

1. The food was absolutely exquisite. The meat was cooked to perfection. Strawberry daiquiri was fab! Couldn’t resist a dessert. Won’t be our last visit to Flax.

2. Having read so many great reviews on this place I was really looking forward to a great meal. The service was good, the atmosphere was good, the steak tasted great but… almost impossible to cut let alone eat. My wife and I both had rib eye steak which was beautifully presented but when we went to cut into it we found it very difficult. I think we both hoped the knives were blunt but no such luck.
   The meat had great flavour and in places was tender but most of it was much too tough. Regrettably I don’t think we will be back, which is a pity as it has the makings of a great restaurant.

3. The sharing platter was unreal the steak and pork chop were delicious.. well all of it was very good!

4. What a great dining experience! The food was fantastic! It was a real surprise for a pretty little restaurant nestled in Broughshane. I had the cod with gnocchi. The fish was cooked very well and was absolutely delicious. My sister said her steak was the best she ever had. Even my daughter (who can be very fussy) ate quite a lot of her food and said it was tasty. The service was very good with a very attentive server. Nothing was too much. We had a great afternoon out and will definitely be back!

5. The food was absolutely beautiful and service is fantastic, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back
