G5 Deli

1. G5 Deli is a bustling cafe in the Gorbals. It is obviously very, very well regarded, with customers queuing out of the door, for the duration of our visit.

   We had soup (one lentil and one minestrone) with two paninis. Very tasty and homemade 🙂.

   The staff are kind and friendly too.

   As a local business, you will experience genuine Glaswegian hospitality 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

2. Stopped in after a bookbug at the library next door with my baby in a pram. Really nice people working there. A lot of chairs but maybe too much to maneuver around in a stroller if they were busy. On a Thursday they close sit ins at 3:30pm. Good food, great prices.

3. Why go to a place every week and don’t review until you get a “bad”” experience and bring the place down??? I love this wee deli/cafe.
   Homemade cakes, fresh sandwiches, lovely coffee, comfortable seats and really friendly staff. And really reasonable prices
   An absolute gem of a place .

4. This is the second time I have been here in two days. The cafe is cosy, chairs are comfortable and the staff are friendly.

   I ordered a 6 piece breakfast with toast and a coffee and it only cost me 6.20 which is very reasonable for the quality.

   The breakfast itself is of good quality and cooked to perfection. The haggis in particular is very nice.

   I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

5. This cafe is always in high demand. Love the coffee, cakes, breakfast, lunch options and all at a fair price. The clientelle they get is well deserved. Sorry there’s no pictures. I almost want to keep this cafe to myself 👀
