Gatos and Beans

1. Gatos and Beans were so helpful during the adoption of Abby and Alec! They were very attentive and answered all of my questions. This is a great cafe with an awesome mission. Even if you are not looking to adopt, stop by and grab a coffee to support!

2. Coffee and cats, what more could you ask for? The decor is great and all looks handmade, they are essentially a shelter where you can adopt the cats as well. Such a great mission and such a great way of accomplishing it. New favorite spot in Bham!

3. I had such a great time lounging with the adorable kitties! You pay to get a certain amount of time in the kitty lounge + it comes with a free drink! The place is clean and well maintained for the kitties to roam around and enjoy. The staff was very kind and the overall vibe was super nice! Highly recommend coming here just to chill and help support an awesome business that helps cats in need! Please consider adopting, fostering and donating/helping your local shelters! 🩷

4. This is my happy place. Calm, quiet and kitties!!! I love being able to show the shy kitties that humans can be good to them. I feel the cafe gives these cats a great chance at getting adopted. No one can show their best side while in a cage. I could spend hours watching the babies nap and play. And when one chooses to sit in your lap? I’m beyond happy. And the staff was patient with me when I was gushing about progress with a shy one.

5. Loved visiting the kitties at Gatos and Beans. The highlight was 2 cats finding their forever homes while we visited. The drinks were good, the kitties all nice, and the experience was just fun overall.
