GENERAL

1. I love Shoppe and the General store, so I was so excited to try the cafe side of things. The setting is the most perfect environment for studying/brunch/date/really anything! The interior design of the General store is so beautiful and unique. The hazelnut latte I got tasted perfect and I had the best time studying there. The cafe and store staff were so kind and wonderful. My only disappointment was in the food I ordered. I got the croque monsieur and it felt like I was eating greasy, hot ham and cheese on white bread. I was very underwhelmed and that is what has made me feel hesitant to return. The bakery items looked tasty, so maybe it was what I ordered. For this I have to take off 1 star, but I really hope to return and have a different experience.

   (And yes I had to take a video of the bathroom because it was GLAMOROUS)

2. I like this place. Best blueberry muffin in town IMO. Nice cup of coffee. Atmosphere and location are great. However, I go to coffee shops to get work done, and I need the internet. The past three times I’ve been here, the access point was full, and I couldn’t connect to the internet. Employee was not helpful either. I don’t get it. I’ll be going to Saturn/Satellite from now on. Not as nice environment, but I can at least work.

3. I love this place so much! They have amazing gifts and food and fresh flowers on every table. I love seeing what’s new each time I go. And their garden salad with pickle dressing is the best!

4. Incredible food, phenomenal atmosphere, and the happiest, kindest staff I’ve ever seen.

5. Loved General! Was such a quaint and cozy space. The almond croissant was amazing! Will be coming back here.

   Update: Went back again and had their fresh squeezed lemonade and OH MY IT WAS AMAZING! The staff is always so kind and helpful. 🙂
