Georgie’s Beachside Grill

1. I came here pre-pandemic with some friends and really enjoyed our experience. I’ve been wanting to take my parents here because they love seafood. They split the three piece halibut fish and chips. I got my own three piece. They are big pieces though so I would recommend the two piece for one person. They got a cup of chowder while I got a bowl. I’d say you could fit four cups in one bowl. The food was just as great as I remember. The views of the beach are really nice after the fog burns off. Friendly staff and great atmosphere, paired with delicious food.
   I would definitely recommend making a reservation through their website. I did yesterday and we managed to avoid a 20-30 minute wait. They even managed to seat us early.

2. Been here twice already and each dish we ordered were very well prepared. For the quality of the food, I think the price is quite decent. The service was friendly and food came quite quick, this is one my favourite restaurants!

3. I recently dined at Georgie’s Beachside Grill, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ocean view added a picturesque backdrop to our meal, making it even more enjoyable.

   The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the dining experience.

   Overall, I highly recommend Georgie’s Beachside Grill for anyone looking for great food, a beautiful view, and excellent service. It’s a fantastic spot for a memorable meal by the sea!

4. We came here for dinner on a Saturday night, 6 adults, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Prime Rib was out of this world, Dungeness Crab Fettuccine looked really good and my Halibut Fish Tacos were grilled, blackened and topped with a fresh Mango Salsa. Delicious!!!

   Service was amazing and the sourdough bread and butter is the best of Newport! In fact, Georgie’s is the best of Newport!!

5. It was definitely a top notch but laid back place. Waited an hour to get a table….didn’t mind walking down to the light house or the ocean while we waited. Service was good but we had to ask for our drinks instead of being asked. As for the kids menu, it did not in fact impress my kid who actually wanted seafood. They only offered fish and chips for the kids. The prime rib chili was scorched but they at least comped it. However they did not offer a replacement or any substitute. Despite these quarries, we would totally go back. The other food items were good and the view was amazing.
