We love the hibachi table experience at Goten of Japan. The food is excellent and served in large portions. The chef is always entertaining and fun to watch and the price is decent.
Wicked good hibachi. So much food. Nice strong drinks. You will NOT be disappointed if you go eat here. Great for family dinners or celebrations. Reservations accepted. Plenty of parking. Somewhat off the beaten path. Had to use my GPS to find.
Emma waits on us all of the time and she is incredible. She knows exactly what we like to order and gets it right every time. She even knows how many cherries to put in my friend’s Shirley temple. The sushi chefs also made our sushi scrumptiously. 10/10 would recommend to any who love food to come eat here. Also, Ms. Kim is the owner and I love supporting an amazing woman owned business.
This is my first time. It was also my first hibachi experience. I opted out of sitting at a hibachi table Because frankly, it just freaks me out.
However, the food is amazing. There wasn’t one thing that wasn’t unbelievably delicious.
Course meal, and it never disappointed
It was very busy and we were one of the first three tables to be seated after opening and it filled up really fast and got busy really fast and the whole ordeal was about 2 hours . Service was exceptionally slow. I wouldn’t come here again if I was in a hurry or didn’t have time to spare, but if I have nothing to do for a couple hours, heck, yeah I’ll be back.
Had a very amazing dinner over the weekend here. It had been quite a while since the last time I had visited this restaurant, but the food was still as good as I remembered.
My wife and I made reservations to eat at 5, but we arrived fairly early and they were able to seat us rather quickly, which was really nice. We looked over the menu and put our order in, and waited assuming they would sit more at our table; but to our surprise about 5 minutes later or so the chef came over and started to do his prep work. I was amazed as I did not expect them to go through the whole show for just 2 people at the table.
The chef was very good and put on an amazing show. The food was perfect, and very flavorful. The portions were also very good; and while i have not gone to many restaurants like this i through the price was very reasonable.
I would recommend reservations as I have heard they can fill up fast.
