Gourmet Coffee Bar And Kitchen

1. I was coming back from crew and didn’t realise the hc was £4.50! Changed my mind and got a packet of crisps; still charged for a hc I never had! Will be trying to get my money back and will be complaining to the station as a lot of the staff English isn’t their first language. Not impressed I’m having to travel all the way to Nottingham station for a £4.50 refund – well attempt.

2. Possibly best iced latte I ever had. Certainly the best train station iced latte I ever had! Selection of creative hot filled croissants were irresistible. Staff were so pleasant. I am so sad this isn’t my local station or I’d go all the time!

3. Staff member didn’t put the money I gave him in the till. Went in back pocket. Coffee was burnt. And staff was all standing around gossiping. Unpleasant experience. Will never recommend.

4. Good Coffee and Tea options in a convenient location within the station. Has some seating and tables for use if you have time to kill. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

5. Came by here couple weeks ago and really enjoyed sitting for a few Peroni and talking with the female barista on duty. Came specifically to the station today for a drink and was met by the most miserable and full of attitude member of staff.
   Sat down on the tall stools and asked for a drink, guy literally rolled his eyes and turned round to face out the other side. I asked if we could order a drink and he said yeah if you’re going to get up and come round here.

   Honestly unbelievable, the place was literally empty but you’re going to refuse service based on having to take a few steps? Talk to your female counterpart, she’ll teach you how to do your job. Won’t be visiting again.
