Grain and Grind

1. Stopped in here for coffee and cake having had a decent walk around Glasgow. This is a lovely coffee shop that is dog friendly. There is some outdoor seating but inside is spacious with a lovely atmosphere.

   The coffee is great and they have some lovely bakes etc on offer too. There is free WiFi if required.

   Based on this experience I would certainly recommend a visit.

2. Lovely shop, nice decor, but staff are cold and distant. I cannot be bothered with them anymore.

   There is no attempt to greet you as you walk through the door. I have been a few times. I came in, with a few days of growth on my chin. It’s the winter, I am a busy man and cannot be bothered shaving. I was treated like an absolute dog by the young girl with short brown hair. I asked for a medium cappuccino. She growled at me; small or large. She came marching over and slammed it on the table. At that point I had enough of her horrible attitude and requested a takeaway cup. Told her, I am writing this review.

3. What a lovely little coffee shop in the west end. Had the Bagel + cake + coffee deal for £10. Bagels had loads of flavour the coffee was smooth and delicious. The caramel wafer chocolate brownie is super rich with a lot of weight so worth the price on its own. This shop also sells their own coffee beans- if you are a lover of coffee I definitely recommend to check it out. The staff were chatty and welcoming super warm atmosphere. Also got coffee to go as well as one cup wasn’t enough.

4. In November 2023, my gorgeous collie and I shared a great doggy friendly coffee and lunch at the Grain And Grind. The coffee was lovely, as was my bagel. The service was fantastic and its a really cool wee place to hang out in the West end. They do great student offers. It’s always a bonus for me to find a dog friendly place. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

5. Came here for a nice coffee break, this place has a fantastic atmosphere. It’s quiet, and an ideal place to come if you want to get some laptop work done.

   I ordered macchiato & a cheese & bacon bagel. Both were absolutely fantastic. And the member of staff who served us was super polite. Very well done, I’ll return here very soon.
