Grand Café

1. Delicious coffee with great aroma! You can purchase their ground coffee. They have freshly baked goods and both indoor and outdoor space to sit down and enjoy your coffee and snack.

2. An amazing little coffee shop in Galt – some really splendid coffee’s, with some additional food menu items. There’s seating both inside and outside, and you can take coffee to go. Freshly baked items, as well as some sit down menu items (like bagels).

3. Grand Cafe is a super cute little spot downtown right by the water. You can sit inside or out, or walk just a few steps away to the main street bridge or walk down to the water. Prices for food is commonly 3-4$ for muffins, cookies, etc. You can get a coffe, tea, or hot chocolate for a similar price.The staff is so lovely! Shocked l’ve never come here before, but will definitely be back. I go here for the service and spot, food sometimes isn’t the freshest or best I’ve ever had, but no complaints!

4. The food and drinks here are just okay, pricey for what you get. And I think the winter warmers are more yummy than the summer drinks which serm to be any regular drinks with ice in them. The staff are efficient, but seem to chat more with eachother than engaging with waiting customers. So it’s a bit awkward when you’re standing there waiting for your items and listening to them chatting as if you’re not there. But the location is really lovely! So close to the river and downtown, but far enough to avoid the worst traffic and noise. The outdoor area is really nice and spacious, and its proximity to the river makes it easy to walk down and chill riverside. I like the separate seating area inside, too.

5. The butter tarts at Grand Cafe are simply perfect!

   The crust is flaky and flavourful.

   The filling is the right level of sweet, buttery, and caramely! As you can see by the drops on my sleeve, they are the perfect amount of runny, with the added bonus of being chewy because they are overflowing!

   Go early though, because they never seem to have more than 2, and that’s at 9:30 am!
