#Greggs
I don’t think I’ve ever used a Greggs drive-thru as consistently awful as this one. Have used the drive-thru on multiple occasions over the past couple of years and every time without fail it is the slowest service. As other people have mentioned you’ll be waiting 10 mins at the intercom with no response. You’ll wait another 5 or 10 mins in front of just one car at the next window, then you’ll wait another 10 mins at the window for your food. God knows how they manage if there’s more than 2 cars.
But hey it’s Greggs, cheap as chips and good value. Perhaps not if you value your time – at this location anyway.
Don’t know whether this Greggs is just seriously understaffed at the moment but I’ve been twice in the last week and the drive-thru service is shocking.
You wait ages at the intercom where you place your order, both times someone has come on and said ‘I’ll be a few minutes’. This is after waiting for ages already if there is a car in front of you.
When you get to the window, the service is also slow there. Seems like staff are trying to do too many things at once.
This time that I went the entire bag of food was cold.
Was very disappointed in the roll I got the salad wasn’t fresh I felt it was a day old . cheese salad should be fresh. Not limp I took it away if I had eaten in. I would have complained
Only thing served warm or hot here is the tea n coffee. Pasty 1030am and freezing cold. Never been heated that day I would say
I have visited 3 times now, and all 3 times they have not had the items I wanted in stock. And what we did buy was a cooked sandwich and some of the chicken nuggets. The sandwich wasn’t cooked properly and the nuggets were honestly the driest chicken I have ever tasted, they had obviously been 1 over cooked and 2 been standing on display all day. Items in the cooked section should only be displayed for 1 hour, because after that they dry out and have serious chance of germs. Having worked as manager of Sainsbury’s cooked section I’m aware of the dangers of leaving food standing on a hot food counter. You can still sell them but you need to reduce them to show the customer they are expiring. Instead I got charged £15 for dry nuggets that had to be thrown in the bin. The customer service is ok, not great not poor. For a fairly new build it isn’t in great shape, windows dirty inside. Stuff on the floor.
