Hickory’s – Rhos-on-Sea

1. Amazing food, we got the sharing platter to try a bit of everything, and it was definitely worth it. Brisket and pulled pork was so tender, melt in the mouth; ribs were deliciously glazed; the sides like corn bread and pickled salad paired so well with the smokey meats. Staff were friendly and helpful. This was our second visit, and both indoor and outdoor seatings had a cool ambience.
   Will definitely be back for more.

3. Went for steak and a shake night on a Monday, very busy and the staff did forget about us a few times as it was so busy!

   The food was gorgeous though and thoroughly recommend the steak and shake deal!

4. Food and drinks are always lovely every time we visit. On our most recent visit service was very slow I think because our group were seated in a corner we were forgot about 😅 but staff were still very friendly and compensated us with a free dessert sharing board for our birthday which was delicious!!

5. The Pabst Blue Ribbon came in a can unfortunately and wasn’t chilled.
   Cowboy steak was good, the patties on the burger were overdone and very dry(thankfully we had plenty of dips/gravy to wash it down) I would have sent it back had we had a check back…and I was starving.
   Onion rings were decent, side of pulled pork with beans was barely warm.
   Table cleared and desert menu arrived, we were then ignored… We never got chance of that desert.
   Eventually it was I think the manager who’s attention we caught and we just asked for the bill. Paid bill including their added tip which I bit my tongue at, I would have tipped four times that amount had we had ‘service’.
   Upon leaving there was no goodbye and still not one person had asked how our meal was.
   I tried hard as I didn’t want to spoil my partner’s birthday but I would not recommend or return.
